In a small cave in the Ironfields, just off the Argent Mere there lives an old Dorthin wizard named Fan Shi Yue. The locals know him as a hermit who produces philters and elixers to solve all manner of problems. These philters and elixers don’t always work out the way Fan Shi Yue intends them to. He works with local herbs and uses natural materials for everything, including the vessels he hands things out in. He uses shells and hollowed gourds; each elixir in its own unique container. His most successful recipe by far though is a concoction he serves in a tuber that relaxes the user and produces visions. Sometimes the visions are entertaining and others informative, illuminating new skills in the user. Mostly though, the potion induces visions of cats doing strange and amusing things. The locals will tell you to avoid the cave if you need real medical help or assistance, but if you’re just looking for amusement, head to the cave and ask for the Tubes of Yeu.
