Dear E,

I know it's been a long time since I've written. I have been getting your letters when I make it back to Shoreline Manor, but haven't taken the time to write you. Sorry about that. There's been a lot going on here as well.

It seems like we might be getting mixed up with some shady people in and about the city, but Dorian assures us that the most recent one is a great patron to have behind us, so I trust his judgement. And we DID just finish a really good job with no casualties or combat at all. So it's not all hack and slash. Sometimes we get to be clever.

But I did write for a reason. I got a letter from Julia (Remember her? Our cousin, the archaeologist? We used to go on "digging expeditions" with her as kids.) about a mystic having mentioned me. I'm not sure if it was just me, or you and I, but I thought it sounded worth investigating. So we went to see a mystic. All she told me was "It's true. They know." Which seems clear enough. So I thought you should know about that.
