Dear Mani,

I used to be quite good at this sort of thing, remember? I’d be gone for weeks and presto I’d come home with hoards of beautiful things, priceless trinkets that I’d acquired? Well, I’m guessing my time with this group has robbed my fingers of their stealth and nimbleness! I just need to practice more! Practice makes perfect, after all!

At least I’m getting better at disguises. But that’s not good enough Mani!

The horrible-man-who-may-know-I-have-his-book  shopkeeper who I may still have a business deal with… I think? We, as in Bird Girl and I, may have found ourselves in his shop, and, being without practice, I couldn’t keep my fingers on the pretty box he threw out! It was trash Mani. I couldn't keep my fingers on trash. Okay, it was the golem heart-in-a-box that I really really really wanted and the team trusted me to get it and and and that darn Shay! When did Shay become Master of Stealth and Thievery? I admit, Shay and I were friends? At least friendly competition back in the day, but I was the better in sneaky movement and acrobats! Now I can’t even get out of a window decently. Not even a WINDOW. The bump the size of an egg on my head proves that.

I need practice Mani, lots and lots of practice! What if there is another job out there, and they hear about this whole window fiasco! I’ll never be hired again! I’ll have to find the pretty things all on my own.. it would be so much more work....  My goodness Mani, this is terrible! I adore this group, it’s true, but… my reputation! It’s falling to bits!

Okay. Not a problem! I can solve this by finding the box, and restoring my… crumbly honour.

Or… or I can find another thing that’s just as good as the box! Hehehe! Perfect! The group will forget this ever happened if I can find something even better! What else is there that could be better... hmm... I'll find something, I'm sure of it. Yes! Excellent, thank you Mani! You’re the best for finding solutions! I’ll simply go back all the houses and investigate until I find something better. :) I could practice my disguises too, it will be amazing!
