I absolutely cannot believe I am saying this... but Jeremiah is proving to be more useful that once previously thought. He has a certain willingness that gives him an advantage over the bull-headed attitudes of the other member of the TIP.

On that matter, the others... they are acting deranged. Yesterday, Ren calmly punched Lucien in the face while Vani gleefully shattered his windows with thrown books. I felt as though I was in a nightmare that I could not wake up from. Can this truly be the real world, where Jeremiah shows more sense that my companions? All is not lost though, it seems Ildan is looking to right wrongs by tracking down information about how Lucien conducts his business. We may have a lead that will bring us to the ring. 

I suppose I only have myself to blame for leaving my precious ring with a drunken gambler. I have not yet forgiven him but I will give him the chance to get back what is mine. If we cannot get it back in time, we may all be in danger. The Chosen do not care who they must cut down in order to deliver justice. Let us hope we can be swifter and more cunning than them or Lucien.
