Carmine
A deceased comrade of the TIP, from their Auxiliary Ranger days. He was killed in an ambush by a hag. Vani was the only witness. Brother to Wendell.
Wendell
A comrade of the TIP who was rendered mute, and has retired to teach singing lessons. Brother to Carmine.
The Johnsons
The keepers of Donghenge. The TIP's first commission. The Johnsons hired the TIP to stop a group of imps who were defiling their fields. The imps were dropping large rocks from a local quarry into the Johnsons' fields to form the shape of a giant facsimile of the male reproductive organ. While the TIP did succeed in stopping the imps, they were not capable of moving the rocks. The Johnsons subsequently decided to turn the rock formation into the tourist attraction Donghenge.
Sergeant Preston
The TIP's commanding officer from their Auxiliary Ranger days. His right arm is devoid of flesh and muscle to just above the elbow. He normally keeps this skeletal (and still functional) arm covered at all times and will fly into an apoplectic fit of rage if anyone mocks it in any way.
The Wylldfred Family
A farming family who had problems with mysterious holes appearing on their property, as well as missing livestock. Turns out it was an ankheg nest. Not very observant people.
Iskandar
A Minotaur Illusionist operating out of Theringrad. He is a larger-than-life type character, whose boisterous behaviour gets him into trouble when gambling. (Just don't tell him his name means "shaved meat" in another language). He has commissioned the TIP to collect magic mines and has also offered them a deed to a manor as payment.
Keith Keithson and Geirhart
Keith Keithson of Keithston is a wizard who does not inspire awe among those who meet him. His slow-talking manner indicates that his manservant, Geirhart, is the more capable of the two. This is proven when the TIP discovered he has been turned into a frog due to some poor luck in wizard poker.
Dorus Gwillionn
A well-known Ranger (see her trading card for stats and abilities). The TIP encounter her on a road, on her way to stop her brother (a witch hunter) from burning down a town.
Christian Gwillionn
A witch-hunter, and brother to Dorus. Not much is known about his character at this point, other than the fact that he was hired to scare members of the Comonna Tong out of Freiburg. The Burgher of Freiburg was making business deals with the Tong and has now been branded, perhaps by Christian himself, with the mark of the witch-hunters.
Rolph
A farmer in Freiburg who hired the witch-hunters to scare the Comonna Tong out of town. His hands hand been badly mangled by these thugs but were healed by Jean. He houses a witch-hunter in his barn for protection.
Stuart and Elayne
Stuart is a farmer who is also having problems with the Comonna Tong. They keep coming back and threatening him and his daughter if they don't pay up protection money. He boards his daughter at the Chrysanthemum House, a boarding house with a well-known reputation of either being cursed or blessed depending on who you talk to. He hires the TIP to escort his daughter, Elayne, to some of their family in Malkara in order to keep her safe.
Lucien
Exiled albino Grue criminal with deep connections to the Malkara underworld. Has connections with Comonna Tong, though is not directly affiliated with the group. Familiar with Narcel'Uss Tanorhal's family and the circumstances of her family's demise. Has knowledge of the location of Narcel'Uss's lost family sigil. Prefers to work indirectly and behind the scenes. Can take a punch surpisingly well.
