Vani came from a large family. After the unraveling, their fates were unknown to her. She was eventually found living an unusually solitary life in the waters by the city with an indifferent manta ray as her best friend and companion. 

Becoming attached the members of the party, she left her safety net behind and indulges in her curiosity and desire to explore and collect as many interesting experiences and items as possible.
