On New Year's Eve, it is customary for those without families to gather and spend the night with ale at Adricks. And on this particular night, the group found themselves in multiple corners of the room when Bailin & Roger from the Watch decided to spoil the mood by announcing the new levy for the year to come: 25 gold pieces per head. The following morning, Adricks went to Kiir's for help. Gregory, his assistant, was missing since the night before. He appeared to have gone through a tunnel guarded by a door in Adricks' basement.

The disparate group eventually decides to head into the tunnel despite the numerous warning glyphs that can be found scratched on the door posts and the ominous song that occasionally escapes from the moldy tunnel.

The group fought their way through rats and spores, to eventually find the Maiden of the Well, a harpy badly infected by the Demon's Dirge, who was peacefully sharing ham with Gregory ontop a pile of bones. Since she didn't volunteer to follow the group and was clearly in need of medical attention, measures were taken to render her more compliant. Her unconscious body was then dragged to Sacha's pharmacy to receive the care she needed.
