After Lady Azoria was featured in The High Town Gazette for her work collecting funds for M.A.D.D., Sa-Cha enlists BD, Rasmus, and Rennie's help to go to High Town to pay her a visit to better understand why funds dried out.
After bribing our way through the Moon Quarter's gate and convincing the guards to High Town to let us know, we arrived at the Azoria's estate.
Juliana, the cook (and Kirk/Krik's mom) welcomed us into the kitchen, where she informed us Lady Juliana's priorities have changed. However, she let us know Judge Lyve has "issues" that we could help with. We headed to his house.
The senechal took us to meet the judge who led us to a cell in the basement. In it, his grand-daughter, in a circle of mercury. She has been there for two years. Her case is advanced, except advanced is not the right word. She talks to each of us and, as we talk back, three of us, Archie, Rennie, and Sa-Cha become infected with the Dirge.
She mentions, in a deeper voice that we wouldn't expect from an 8-year old girl, the same voice we sometimes hear coming from really advanced cases of Dirge, that her/their name is Sheol, the Immortal. Sheol, in talking with Sa-Cha express the desire to leave. To find a new purpose. To elevate the common folks, give them a higher purpose, a power.
As the possessed girl start to walk out, the group throw some mercury vials on the floor, given to us by the senechal, which allow us to escape, leaving our patient locked in. On our way out, BD noticed some research done by Aster on the use of mercury.
Rennie goes back home and have a heart-to-heart conversation with Jason, who announced he met Sheol once. He was there during the conjuring.
