Appendix to the ledger (Private records of W.S.)
Another day, another wildly overspent budget. And now I have been ordered, by that slimy and ignoble rat of a coloneldomo (I've had to give up reminding him of my name), to go on a field mission to inventory and escort a wayward shipment of the "savory" entertainment variety to the party. (What are the savory entertainments? What are the sweet? That is apparently between Onran and Amran alone.) More expense, likely, although I suppose getting out into the woods could be good for the soul. I may see if Grigori would like to come - we can spin some tales along the road, and I am certain he would be interested in some back-door access to the Palooza when we return.
Still not sure whether this will be a mission requiring the white collar or the steel - better wear both, just in case. It's a good thing I sprang for that nice shirt, it sits well under my gorget and doesn't chafe. I shall have to send one to W when he gets his new address.
