Avis had gone down into the tunnels following the appearance of the purple monster in town. While down, she heard the sound of the cave-in, ran towards, and after some catch-up decided to join the party for some exploring. She mentioned passing by a magic-made bridge over an underground river on her way to the group so the bunch headed that way first.

Past the bridge, the group heads South, following the banks of the underground river, towards the sound of falling water. After noticing a small pipe dipping into the water from the ceiling, Rasmus decided to go and investigate then got caught in the current and headed towards the abyss. Trying to get out of the water, Rasmus ended up illuminating the ceiling where a large scale-y immobile creature could be seen.

The party then decided to explore the other bank where they found a dug cavern where we found Aeson and what is left of Marcus, the former witch hunter. Aeson, Mantike's friend who was trying to join the Thieves guild. He explained he was making maps. We head North, towards the well.

Rasmus, Sa-cha, and Avis climbed up without issue. BD and Reni had more difficulties.
