Nathaniel Pierce of the TSS Indomitable boards the Unsinkable and demands to search the ship for contraband. Fletcher argues that we are operating on behalf of the Rangers, but they are in some distress under the ocean, and Fletcher would really prefer to be dealing with that thank you very much, and if they have to search they should get this over with.

They search the ship under the supervision of Ant and Helga, stabbing barrels of cheese whales, when one barrel wobbles and tips over and rolls away. Ant tries to explain this by saying that "it's the crunchy snack that crunches back and sometimes there's fucking teeth in there". The barrel sneezes and bursts open and a tiny elephant tumbles out, to everyone's confusion except Kelis. The navy reacts with great suspicion and claims that the elephant is contraband. Kelis calls the elephant to her. Helga uses speak with animals to ask questions, and learns that the elephant's name is Aloo and they are stowing away on the ship to stay with "nana" Kelis. Kelis attempts to explain what the deal is with the elephant, but is unconvincing. Eventually Kelis gives them 10 GP for an "elephant license" and they are satisfied.

They move on to search the captain's quarters and give Fletcher a hard time about not calling himself a pirate anymore. Fletcher realises that they are looking for something very specific, not just generic contraband; they are looking for the map. Fletcher utterly fails to subtly grab the map from his writing desk, instead opts to blow his nose in it, but Nathaniel snatches it out of his hands.

Back underwater: Swain and Beurk drank water breathing potions and dove in to help with the rangers. Cypher leads them to the cave and tries to communicate to them what is going on while being deafened. There are still so many frogs. Jacqueline is fighting them, and every time she strikes a frog is splits into more small frogs. Gregor is wounded, and Tambor is attending to him, while Nicholas attempts to set up a radio. They are all bleeding from their ears while Jacqueline yells instructions to a crew that can not hear her. Swain, Beurk and Cypher engage the frogs trying to avoid breaking them OR letting them get bigger.

Back on deck: Nathaniel has the map and is making his way off as quickly as he can manage. Helga summons Chainsaw, her puffin familiar, who snatches the napkin away and flies off. Fletcher plays off the theft as a pesky bird who thought it was food, and Nathaniel continues to believe that the crew did not know what it was on account of being idiots, and moves on back to his ship.

UNDER THE SEA: The subnautical party fights the frogs and is only a bit deafened/blinded. They fend them off long enough for Nicholas to finish setting up the relay and get the heck out of there.
