The Obsidian Panthers are a long standing adventuring company founded by Tamarind Denyr'tha. They have operated for nearly fifty years with a rotating membership. Bards throughout the region sing songs and tell tales of their heroism and bravery, from their participation in the last war with scything crag, to their battles with the hungry dead before the unraveling, to their battles with the False Prophet. They've slayed dragons, toppled tyrants, and rescued many a kidnapped noble. 

Their leader is Shayde Zephrym, an Exiled Grue ranger that has, for nearly sixty years, refused to admit that he is the leader an adventuring company. The only other surviving original members of the company are the elven sorceress Tamarind and the aging gnomish wizard, Effelheim Silver Stein. The other originals have died, retired, or both, though new members have joined to fill their shoes.
